Have you tried sending out a mass email inviting everyone back to the forum?
I'm not that familiar with phpBB forum software. I remember back in the day when I used vBulletin there was an option to create a message and it would send to every email registered by members in the database. (How many of those email addresses are still active and/or accessible by members is another matter)

There is a some what of a notification deal set up that sends out reminders but I bet 65% of them have come back as no longer good email address. I can send a mass email and plan too here soon once I get a few things worked out. Been having email server issues lately, thats why mail is currently coming from gmail and not my server. Whatever reason, in gmail at least, all the emails from my site (server) have been ending up in people spam folder out of no where. Some reason gmail has decided to start flagging my server as "potential spammer". Im trying to work with them to get it fixed buy its been a nightmare to get a real response from anyone. I just keep getting pointed to the online trouble guides.

Another option....Maybe change the Facebook group page settings so that facebook members can't post. Keep it up simply to advertise the forum.

Thinking that is what is going to end up happening soon. Sadly there are other groups for them to run too if they can no longer post in one. I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the sell something tab in the group as I want to stop people from posting ads in there but FB is a pain in the a** like that and really wants me to allow selling of items. Im going to be changing up the rules though for the group.

I'll either drive them here, or drive them away... LoL

I'm a new member! I'm not officially a owner yet waiting on the guy to find the paperwork on it. I haven't driven a stream in 25 yrs but looking forward to getting this project underway. 79 vector center steer that needs a complete makeover, I have a 2.5 promax that I've been hanging onto for years that I thought would go back on a CC Bullet or a 2002 Allison that should push the vector pretty dang good. I've been trying to research and not ask questions that yall have answered a million times .
