8 short years...

Post: # 22240Post Hippie459MN »

Well, today (March 25th 2017) marks 8 short years that HydrostreamForums has been a thing and what better way to celibrate than with a HUGE HUGE update to the site along with some new features and a whole new look.

Over the years the site has evolved to much more than just a simple chat forum and its people that keep coming back and posting and providing content to the site that makes me keep plugging away at it. I would just like to say thank you to everyone that keeps coming back and giving me a reason to keep going for all of you to enjoy and to everyone that has donated in some way shape or form over the years. HUGE HUGE thank you!!!!

Here is to many more!

P.S. I hope everyone likes the new look. Oh yeah, how many of you are squinting trying to read this? haha

P.S. Now to get things hopping around here again. Post up people! Get others back here too that have left for the likes of Facebook... We want you back!

Kevin,
Thanks for everything over the years. I am a computer programmer, and refuse to use Facebook. I'd rather be on here. Keep it up. I haven't had any projects moving forward lately, but hope to soon this spring.

How's the Vulture coming along? Three Lakes Shootout this year?

He's alive!!!! LoL Glad to see you havent forgot about us here.

The Vulture is coming along. Need a few more things yet then hang the motor and lots of rigging. Three Lakes is going to be a stretch I think but im going to try like heck. I dont know if you have seen it since I got it back from Brian but he did an AMAZING job and can't thank him enough for his help and it was just the motivation I needed to get back in the groove. So glad I didnt give up on it.

Kevin,
Yes - saw it after Brian's. It looks great. Brian is a great guy. I haven't been able to run with those guys for about 2 summers, but hope to get back to HPT events. Vulture is up north, and I've been unable to get up there enough to use it much, or get it back down here, so I can hit the events. Trying to downsize on house. Focus is not on boating right now. that's gotta change. Hope to get to Three Lakes myself, but not sure yet.
