By the stickers on it , hasen't been in water since 1988.What kind of speed should I get from this boat with 115 Rude.Paid 500$ boat motor trailer.

Nice looking boat, I always liked the vector.

I would get rid of the rollers on the trailer and make a good bunk set up. The rollers put too much pressure in a small area and will distort the hull. Other than that it's looking good.

Are you planing on replacing the core?

This week or next should start recoreing,just finished ripping the stuff out,as soon as I stop itching,i'll take a ride to the marina and see what they have.Just got a camera so I will take some pics of the progress,Got some before pics can"t wait to take some after.BTW can you tell me how thick balsa core should be?

:agree: Bunks are a must. I have personally seen what rollers and a bad core can due to a hull over time and its not pretty. Looks like you have a great project there and look forward to seeing the progress. :D

1/2" bulsa is standard.

You definatly need to get rid of the rollers before recoring. If not the bottom will be a mess.

The plan is to get up on blocks ,pull trailer from underneith,replace rollers w/bunks,seen pics on this site,looks easy enough.Thanks for the input keep it comming.

Good morning Herbie, did you get into s&f? There are other forums with good info also as in Iboats. Just takes alot of time to read all this stuff but think it is time well spent. Lets see those new camera pics.
