I have a 2007 Ventura X22. I bought the boat December 2010 with 20 hours on the clock. I would like to hear from another member with the same boat. It has the Mercruiser 496HO

Welcome Matt! I know nothing about this hull, or the one that shows on the "hydrostream" website. Do you know the history on it? Did you buy new old stock or used? How about some more pics, details and performance numbers?? Good looking boat!!

I have the original build sheet showing it going to a guy in Eastern Washington, but I guess it was not fast enough for him. I called Hydrostream and was told it went to a few boat shows but never sold. It was never registered to anyone. It's not as fast as a lot of other hydrostreams, but for a 22' I/O it moves and sounds great. 72 GPS.

Russ, Yes its a Hydrostream. Im not so sure but I think only a few were made and they never really went into production that I am aware of.

They are still listed on the hydrostream.com web site bu that web site has been the same since 2007 I bet. They added a tiny update in 2010 with just some info saying they are now in Stokers building but thats it.

That boat was built well after Howards days of running Hydrostream.

Im guessing you prob know more then me on that boat as yours is the only one I have ever heard about in someones hands other then the demo/boat show model(s)

I'm not sure how many we're made. Hopefully there is a few out there. I would like to know what performance mods other have done.
