Post: # 21702Post Sadlerracing529 »

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and by the end of next week might be a first time hydrostream owner!! I've been intrigued by these boats for the last year and have done a bunch of research on them and I fully understand the importance of the cores on these. Here is the Viper I might pick up

Thanks. And thanks. The owner said as far as he knows it's all original...so I'm thinking the core has never been done before. In trying to decide if I want to take on that much of a project or not...the boat looks worth it.

I should also point out this will be my first go fast boat and first time dealing with anything floor or core related on a boat...so I'm kind of intimidated by it

I didnt want to either but its more of a finding time thing. The work isn't that bad. What I did is buy all my materials, core , resin, glass and gel coat up front. That way I can't give up.
and it will all be worth it when I am done. These boats look sweet and go fast. :boating:

It is a very beautiful boat. I hate to do this but I decided to pass on it  . I just don't have the room for the boat to do it properly right now. If I got it the boat would have to sit outside the rest of this year and through the winter and I have no room at the moment to do the recore. And I just can't justify having this thing sit outside. Plus I like the vipers but I really want a vking so if I'm going to do all the work on a recore I might as well wait for the boat I truly want

Great looking boat, I absolutely love those. Looks like I will just have to be patient and wait to get one until I have the space to do it right. I just hope whoever does get that viper takes care of her!
