New Front Seats

Post: # 13738Post triumph3434 »

Was looking for new seats. The smaller the better. I really like the size and look of the attwood avenir and avenir sport. However, I have no way to get matching upholstery for the back seat. Also, I noticed these were for sale from walmart which makes me think they are junk. They looked good until I saw walmart carried them. No where does it say what mil or oz the fabric is.

Is a thicker vinyl better than thin?

Has anyone used these seats? Are they good?

Can I get fabric from attwood for my back seat?

If I cant get fabric will I have a hard time matching the colors?

I can get fabric from veada, but their seats are very big.

Any other suggestions for seats?

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you guys for all your help.

I got my seats from Overtons. 30 oz marine vinyl . Had to look in the pontoon boat seats to find these. Best price for an awesome seat. Foam is very firm which is key to a good seat.

Here's the link to the style I picked.

I was able to get the rear seat without the base for much cheaper.

They sell fabric also. I got some to make side panels. $783.00 to my door in ALASKA!!!!

You looked at all Veada seats most of the ones I looked at are smaller then the ones your showing . The only reason I"m asking is because I now there vinyl is very good stuff I went with another company 2years ago for my big crusier and I'm not happy .I got veada for my Voyager and I'm very happy as is my interior lady she said it was alot better quality vinyl and they send samples realy quick and you get to pick 3 colors show me another company that does that for free. Its like buying custom seats wihtout payying custom prices. Bottum line shop around it took me 2-3monthes before I could decide.

Alaska, I hadnt seen those, they are a good size and look nice. Its the best match for the original ones that are in there now. I do kinda like the sleek look of the Avenir as well though...

Rut311969: I already got the samples from them. Great Customer Service and the Fabric is all 29oz and nice. But, the helm Seat 100 is 25" deep PLUS the front lip of the seat which they dont measure, so its more like 28". The Avenir Sport is 24" total clearance.

I will call Attwood today and ask about fabric weight, and If I can get extra fabric. Ill let you all know.

OK, Attwood sent me to boatingseats.com thier retailer to answer all the questions. They said 30oz Vinyl, and they can order and send extra for my back seat. Said about 17.99 per yard. Seats are 300 shipped, no tax.

They are sending the Samples today.

So 30oz is prety good right?

Was just looking on Overtons web site in the pontoon section and I really like these. Back is only 21" high so its not an overly tall seat.

Toonmate Deluxe Pontoon Seat

And only $209 with free shipping.
