Do you run it without a top rail? If so, how fast?

What bolts did y’all use for the front bottom mounts?

I haven't bolted mine on yet, but i took some measurements.

The acrylic windscreen is 3/16" thick.
The lower trim rail is 1/8" thick.
I would venture a guess that the fiberglass thickness of the deck is roughly 3/16" thick. (I added some layers of 1.5oz CSM and 1708 glass to the underside. Let's be generous and say 1/4" thick max)

That puts the total thickness of all 3 at 9/16". Add in extra bolt length for the nut.
You could probably use 1" long machine screws.
The holes drilled into my windshield and lower trim are 1/4" diameter.
.
You should be looking at using #10 (3/16) or #12 (7/32) machine screws.
#8's (5/32) might allow for a little more play when trying to line up the holes if your deck is also drilled.
