new first time hydrostream owner with a blackmax powerhead s

Post: # 13203Post LongAndLow »

I just bought a v-king in great shape with a blown up 150 black max and I have a 25" 175 blackmax. I was wondering if instead of swapping whole motors and then centers and mounts could I just swap powerheads? Would this be easier? What are the odds that this is a fairly thought and trouble free swap. I don't have a ton of info but my 175 is a late 70's motor I believe and the 150 looks to be about the same. Any input would be appreciated!
