Im sure I will be running a black motor on the CobraJet. Would be nice if I could find a period correct inline for it. Must get Vulture on the the water before I even start messing with that thing. One project at a time here otherwise none of them will ever get finished. lol

Well, thought I was going to be on the water this weekend but got stopper by a missing steering part OMC Part#175322. It's the bracket that holds the dual steering at the motor. I called around and found one in Madison WI but I was three hours away. I had a friend coming up from Madison and called him, but he was already more than half way up. Oh well. the rest of the weekend was a drag. One more week and I should be putting down some runs. I thought last week went slow waiting. This week will be just as painful. Bill

The anticipation is killing me I bet you are just about pacing waiting for m]next weekend. Just tell the boss you got something in your eye and just can't see yourself coming to work for a couple days.

Here's a picture of the new motor. I should be on the water by this Friday. I took the high road and took a day of on Friday again instead of coming up with a lame excuse to take it off. Did like the joke though. The steering part is on back order, but I found it near Appleton WI and am heading past there anyway. I just needed an excuse to save the $42 for overnight to get it up there by Friday.
