I got a killer deal on a older mercury 200. Was wanting to know if anyone on this site knows how to identify the motor only numbers I have is serial number and number stamped on mid section.
Serial # A 166239. Misection # 1590 8334

there not matching a would be a mid to late 80s and mid probally under that as in mid 80 s srarted putting letters on serial numbers
