First day of the season

Post: # 8110Post silkeysak »

Well, finally got the Viking in the water instead of in the yard. Temp was in the high 70's, but the water is so cold it hurts. I ran high 80's without dialing anything in yet. What a blast. Thought I was fast until a guy with an STV River Rocket with 300 hp pulled up on me, and took off at 110!!!. I guess for what he spent he deserves it. On my budget, if I see 90 I'll be happy. Getting pics next time out. Hope it warms up for you guys in the tundra.

I heard like 12" for where I am at and maybe upto 14" :cry1:

And just when I was almost able to get to my boat that was 100% cleaned off and cleaned out of all the snow. Winter sucks! lol

Get it out early in the morning, although I watched my neighbor tear up his yard trying to get through the leftover show today.

Sunday a heavy and wind driven snow will cover the area making travel difficult into Monday morning. Snow amounts in the Twin Cities region could range from 8 to 12 inches or more with 10" to 14" possible in the Metro, and higher amounts south - up to 15"-17" from the south Metro to the Highway 19 corridor.
So yeah... Not looking forward to this BS!!!! :(
