i have a 15ft viper im building it real light and with pvc board... how fast do u think it will go with a 4 cylinder 50hp mercury on it?

The engine / hp. for your boat should be decided by you and your dad, but it's jmho that these boats are all about being on the pad. If you can't get on the pad you're kinda missing the point. Ninety horses would be a reasonable and safe place to start...no chance of blow over but it'll still feel like a hot rod. Again, jmho.

So, made any progress?
