New Apricot Viper - SO HAPPY!

Hey Guys- If you already saw this on S&F, sorry for the repeat. I am just excited I pulled this off!
I just returned yesterday from a long road trip from Maryland to Wisconsin and back (1,957 miles) to pick up a 1977 Apricot Viper. I took a leap of faith and bought the boat sight unseen. The pictures of it were beautiful and I had great conversations with the seller, Travis N. Upon seeing the boat in person it was everything Travis said it was. He is a stand up guy and a man of his word (that's him in the pic). Dealing with him was a pleasure and I'm glad to have made a new Hydrostream friend.
The boat now sits next to my red 1977 Viper. Both boats were built in January 1977, 119 units apart, the red one first. Unfortunately I can't keep them both so the red one has to go. It is listed on S&F in hulls under 20'. The 1977 115 Johnson on the Apricot boat will also be for sale. It is a low hour fresh water motor with power trim, all original OMC gauges, 2 tanks and controls. Compression is 135 on all 4 cylinders. it will be hard to find another original motor in this condition. I will be listing it later this week.
A 150 inline 6 Merc be the new power for the Apricot boat. Needless to say I am very excited. I hope to meet some of the other Apricot Viper owners such as Sonik (Jeff) and participate in the Hydrostream community. I wish I could make the big meet up coming in a couple of weeks.
I know I will have to inspect/address the core. I have read much about that but have no actual experience. Just the same I am so happy and still in disbelief!
And it's cool when your kids get it too.
