Re: Vector splash
I don't want to go against the grain but I like the originals better. I'm hoping my Vulture will look like it rolled off the showroom floor when I am done. I am lefty so and I don't like the throttle on the right. I actually will be moving it to the middle between the seats and not going with a foot pedal. That is the only change I made to my first Vulture. I like to put my right arm on the side of the boat and wouldn't be able to do that with the solid down the side windshield. Just my opinion though. I guess I just can't get over that first time I saw my first stream and bought it. The day I bought it (by myself) at age 17, I got in a car accident that was not my fault and get grounded from the boat. To prove a point I slept in it until the grounding was lifted. I can't even bring myself to change the seat from the original. I may do some replacement seats that fit in to replace the originals, but when it's show time, mine will look like it did in the showroom in 1979. Bill Ramble, Ramble, Ramble.....

That is not a smart choice if you ask me as I would take a Hotfoot (Foot throttle) over a hand throttle any day. Better control of the boat big time. That way you are able to have both hands on the wheel while still being able to control the speed of the boat. I would hate to see you clipping along and the boat gets squirly and you have to take a hand off the wheel to slow the boat down and end up in more trouble than you started off in. Just do like most people do, use the original box for the ignition and stuff and for the shifter but use the foot throttle for the speed of your choice while keeping both hands on the wheel. Just my .02 cents.

Re: Vector splash
I ve owned 4 stream threw the years and have had them both ways NO foot pedal and with foot pedal, so from my experiance WITH FOOT PEDAL is the way too go MUCH SAFER ( added a couple more cents )

Re: Vector splash
One thing I do like about the original Stream windshield is the abolity to reach in from the side (to play with the trim, turn the wheel etc). I do like the looks of this much better though.
Anyone know what the pads looked like on this copy?
