it's not just streams

Post: # 8609Post 77viper »

I went over to a buddies place yesterday to work on a 85hp suzuki that he is going to run "alternative" fuel in as well as some other mods. After spending most of the day measuring and cutting-drilling on the block and carbs we turned our attention to the boat. It's a 10' jewel and newly accuired by Travis for a cheap boat to race this year. As we were tearing out the carpet we found it was easier to pull up the floor as the screws were rusted. As soon as we saw the spray foam under the floor there was a bad feeling. They had already cut the core out from under the cockpit but the rest of it was gone. I had some fun with the saws all knowing I didn't have to grind anything and after about 3 hours the rest of the core was out.

All I had with me was my cell for pics so they suck

For some reason I didn't think to get a picture of the boat.

Nice. My uncle had one of then years ago. Takes a lot of motor to get em to put down some decent numbers. And they look much better without the windshield

Should do really good with a hopped up 85 on it though. I will try to see if I can find some pics of his. I think they are actually 12' with actual measurement of 11'7" but I could be wrong. Would love to see more pictures.

I was surprised to find they still make them. Neat little boat.

Any luck getting the Humber on the water yet? I would be interested to hear how it performs with an 85 HP powerplant.
