Does anyone know anything about these boats. Theres one where I boat in Central pa with Twin 175 Johnsons on it and its smaller than my Vegas :o He tried to get me to mess with him, but Im still too new to my boat to be be doing stuff like this. Looks like a ski boat to me? Any ideas on performance?

There is a forum/web site dedicated to the classic Hydrodyne boats. Maybe you can find more info there.

Thanks Hippie. It didn't look like a performance hull to me but the twins grabbed my attention.

I am very familiar with them. They were very popular as ski show boats because of the large solid transom, room for twins, and flat bottom with lots of room for skiers. Many of them got a lot of abuse pulling large pyramids of skiers and didn't live long. I'd love to see some pictures. I miss the two our show had. If I could find a decent one, I would consider rebuilding it. I keep my eye open for one every once in a while. Bill

I dug up the link to Dyna Ski. I believe this is the modern day Hydrodyne. This may be a bit off topic but enjoy anyway.

Well after some research it doesn't seem like its a threat as their hulls don't support much over 60 mph. They mostly run twins due to The fact they can pull 20That plus skiers. Pretty neat looking boats. But its not a stream :D

Since the 80's we've run one with 2 150 Johny's on it and the other had a 200. Very strong and powerful boats. They are now being built under a new name. I think they are called Dynaski now, but I am not sure. At the begining of the show, they trim the twin rig all the way up and pop a completely vertical wheely. It is unbelievable. The torgue is amazing. BUT, it's not a Stream
