omc model year identification

Starting in 1981 omc uses two letters in the model # to identify the model year. They used the word introduces to code the year. So starting with I being 1 or
I N T R O D U C E S
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
A model #e175 tlco using co would be 85
If you can't find the ser # tag look at the "frost" plugs it is also stamped there witch is also good if the powerhead isn't original.
I just thought this would be handy after this brp uses a year on the ser# tag

you mite like this one , Monty racing out of Florida confirmed and gave a full rebuild price and mentioned that on pump gas , dyno numbers with mild port matching , i would see around 460 hp and had already built many ! Was said ,$ 7,500 for full job . [album][/album]

77 viper any info on 88 blue valero would be appreciated like how many rpm it is set up for if you could get any info from guy in your boat club . It would be greatly appreciated . And by the way have you guys ever used cabasil with your glass resin it is a fill you use it to stiifin up resin for horizonal and vert work make thing alot nicer espcly when doing transom work . You can get it at sherwin williams its 100$ a bag but worth it bag well last rest of your life inless you do alot of glass work
