I have a old mercury throttle box and it has a plug in on the front of it that is suppose to go to the gauges ....

I just used one last week, I thought it was listed as a tach harness. I'll look and see if I can get you a part#. If you want you can make your own harness.

Thank you for all the help 
and after 3 weeks of nights and weekends i now FINIALLY have my boat wired up ...
Well i didn't mention that i also had a very detailed gps/chart plotter inter twined with a marine radio and an 8 speaker sound system ampted up added also .
I mean every good man needs to know were he's going with some kick as# tunes going on ... LOL and the garage sounds awesome now !
