you know what sucks more than removing a rotten core???

Have questions about fiberglass, gel-coat, or core repairs well as composite questions?

You don't have much left slacker get back under there. Besides I need more beer drinkin' time watching you work while I point to areas that need attention...........Sounds familiar about 10 months ago but the other way around huh?

Well, i got all of the core out. There was only a couple good spots that weren't much bigger than a square foot so it I went ahead and removed it. They were right under the dash area at the top edges. The rest was completely rotton all the way to the nose. Super easy to remove! I bought an oscilating tool to aid in the process and it has paid for itself ten times over already. A must have if doing a recore.

I still plan to start a build thread. I just need to take ths time to sit down and do it. Lots of pics already.

So, rotten wood, glass, bedliner and then more glass? Wow, that would suck! I'm glad mine is all done. I'm just waiting on QuarterHorse to get back into his so I can help.
