I have been working like a mad man to get this thing on the water for the Three lakes race in WI. I had some issues with the steering pulleys that Transomstand was able to help me out with-Thank you. After that I dropped the 280 on and fired it up Thursday at work and ran it for a bout 15 min in our test tank but didn't have my shifter made yet so I just idled it and checked everything over. After work on Sat I made my shifter and brackets. Back in the test tank again for about 10 minuets before it started to rain. Everything looked fine so I went to the lake with it sat and again on Sunday and put about a hour on it before finding I have a fuel delivery issue. I'm running a single -8 fitting from the bottom of the sump tank to a Yamaha 10 micron filter then to the pump all fuel lines are 1/2". It was starving for fuel at 5000 rpm so I switched to a merc filter and the starvation moved to 7000 tonight, I guess I will try a aromotive filter next. Anyways so far with the 30 pitch offshore cut I have been able to hit 83mph at about 7000 after about a hour and a half break in time. The boat handles great and is real comfortable to cruse at 75, I just can't wait to get a little more time on it this week.

Shifter and bracket.

Awesome build, start to finish. Great documentation too, can't wait to see pics of her aired out! Congrats and thanks, you've left a ton of info here for people to digest, that's what makes a great site!
