Just got her wet. Launches a hell of a lot faster with far less bow lift. Acceleration from a standstill I notice the motor stays lower in the revs, and pulls harder, it must have been slipping before and I didn't know it. Settles down the porpoising under 50 to almost non existent..... Best bang for the buck mod so far!!!

The prop I have is a worked 24, but I don't know what has been done to it, or for what boat. Will be trying out a few props this weekend I think.... You may have misunderstood me though. The prop seems to bite a lot harder now than it used to, I notice my revs just after planing are lower and the boat is accelerating faster, so it must have been slipping at that point before I installed the plate and I didn't know it.

Yes he's on hpbc as well. I bought one of his last ones. He discontinued it after one broke, he's working on a composite design right now. The breakage was due to it's sensitivity to chemicals, so as long as I don't use cleaners on it I should be fine.

Look on screamandfly.com, eagle one sells one, sounds like a decent design as well.
