Hey guys,
Just had a couple questions for you in regards to this Vision I picked up. I guess my first question is what kind of power can these things handle (Or should I say the driver lol) Reason I ask is because seeing the Vector is only 8 Inches longer and the transoms have little more then 3/4 of an inch difference, I see guys hanging some good size V-6's off the vectors. I guess the pad being wider then a vector would make this thing a little harry when aired out.
Reason ask is because I have a 93 225 Looper with offshore mid freshly redone that I have sitting in the garage
Wondering how to post images or maybe change your avatar or maybe something else?

Re: 93 Hydrostream Vision questions
I would think the boat can handle the power as long as the core and transom are in good shape. a couple knees on the transom wouldn't hurt.
If you do decide to do this make sure you have dual cable steering, hot foot minimal because when at high speed sh!t goes bad fast.

Re: 93 Hydrostream Vision questions
Transom and floor are in great shape, that was the first thing I checked over on the boat. After redoing my J-Crafts Transom and floor I am very aware of a solid transom. Boat has a Hot foot, 5 1/2 inch CMC Jack Plate and my motor is setup with a nose cone.
Steering wise what system would you recommend for my setup?

Re: 93 Hydrostream Vision questions
Sounds good, did you also check the core by chance. I'm not sure if the Canadian boats were built better than the US boats were but I would check that for sure if you plan on big power. That is a killer looking boat and I would hate to see anything bad happen.
Teleflex makes a dual cable system that some guys use, I like my sea star hydraulic systems.

Re: 93 Hydrostream Vision questions
Saturday I am going to take the stream out of the garage and look it up and down. I have a Sea Star Hydraulic setup that I was going to use but I guess I wanted others to chime in here and give me an idea what they run on their streams. If anyone would know it would be you guys! Like they say, the only dumb question is the one that's never asked.
