Another attack that should keep all children 100 miles from this guys house. The dogs are always good until they disfigure a child or worse yet kill one.

He is taking the dog in to be put down. I feel real bad but at the same time feel better it wasn't a kid. I say that because I have had dogs all my life and my lab is sleeping on the couch next to me.

That is sad cause my one dog I have (The middle dog) is my oldest dogs daughter that I got back when she was 3 years old as the couple couldnt keep her where she was moving and I learned real quick that there son had abused her way bad as she tried nipping me a few times and we had some issues early on that almost led me to putting her down but I just couldnt do it and now 3 years later I have a whole new dog and while she still gets fussy from time to time (Flashbacks maybe) she is a really good dog and excellent with my son.

My oldest was so well socialized with people and other dogs that he just want attention from everyone and as long as you throw a stick or a ball for him, and it only takes one time, you will have a friend for life.

Our youngest is little guys protector I think or something. She follows him every where and keeps him out of trouble and they love to cuddle.

I am a true believer in its all how they are raised as I have seen some vicious dogs that dont have that rep and just the sweetest dogs that most people think are highly dangerous.

I think this just turned into a show off your dog topic. :D

And Chet, You do have a cool dog.

Not to be a di%k or anything but inless your buddy lives intown around others and people are at potential for danger he should leave the dog alone if this is a single event . He should be kicking his own *** for not being a responsible pet owner . The dog with his owner not present could very well thought he was protecting his owners house and property and now well pay the ultimit price  seems wrong when your buddie could have just locked him up. Im not down playing that he bit you cause that sucks but does he have kids how well it efect them? Just hope it heals well and fast .

I agree with you Rut but we do live in town. He is afraid because he has neighbors with young children and the dog is outside with a invisible fence.
