Yep. The only one ever built. It was for sale here in Minnesota for a while then the owner was selling just the motors, sold one of them and had one left still on the boat. Then sold it to this guy in canada and all he wanted was just the motor but bought the whole boat and took the motor off then derigged it completely and listed it (the hull only) for sale. It was pretty much a complete boat minus one motor when he bought it.

Here is a link to the ad a while back when it had both the motors on it and was a complete boat - http://www.hippie459mn.com/downloads/hydrostream_visa.pdf

Here is a link to the Visa info page - http://www.hydrostreamforums.com/visa

Hope that helps.

As far as a fair price, If its CA money, then maybe but then again, depends what someone is willing to pay for a true one of a kind. He has had it for sale a few times and the price keeps coming down it looks like. Its a shame he completely derigged it though. Would have been a much better sale if he hadnt.

EDIT: I see the boat is listed as at a dealer now. Not sure if it was before but makes me wonder if the guy was having a heck of a time selling and traded it or the dealer actually bought it for the motor and stuff. Hmmm...

Well, he's under half his original selling price. I'm positive it has been the one owner since it came up here. Oh, and hippie, the Canadian dollar is stronger than the American dollar these days, so it's still too much......

I would have to agree with Pete. Maybe if he was more in the $1500-2000 range but even then.

I wonder if this boat has a core in it or not. Im sure in true Hydrostream fashion it does.

My understanding is that the boat was never built to be sold, only to test and display. It would need a complete structural overhaul. This would seem to explain why the boat never seems to be complete in all the times we've seen it for sale(because it never was completed at the factory). I suspect it's only had a few minutes water time in it's entire life.

I just saw the ad link that Hippie posted, even there (the most complete I've ever seen it) it looks like it has a plain wooden floor.

"We purchased it to run at Parker, but we couldn't find 2 guys dumb enough to drive this death trap, so we made up a bull story about vapor lock"
