Here are a few of my 1978 Vking, Boat has been recored =, has a boxed transom, and will be painted all wight. Power will come from a 2.4 liter modvp short shaft. hope it will run into the high 90's.

Looking great. What did you do for filling in the splashwell? I am going to glas mine over as well, Just not sure how to go about it just yet. How did you do the deck supports also? You cut them from a template or just wing it? Mine have been cut out and tring to decide if I am going to put em back in.

Would love to see more pics of the splashwell job.

Hippie, For the splash well I made a panel out of one layer of mat, 2 layers woven and another layer of mat. Then glassed it in to the boat i also added bulkheads in the back, The Deck supports were made using the same lay up then cut out using the ones i cut out.
