I am 59 and my eyes dont see to good without reading glasses .was going by lettering on the boat. from a distant it looked like voodoo knew it said canadian edetion on the side. lol. dont see to many visions.

My VooDoo has a 200 efi merc on it.... It isn't a VooDoo lol... I have a 16' Vision...

I would like to talk to the guy. I know there are a few guys that run on long lake. might have seen his boat. what are you running on your voodoo motor size and prop. thanks

You have a very good source of info in Suds, one of the fastest v-bottoms in canada. He's a busy guy, but great to talk to if you get a chance. Pm me if you like....

Good advise above.

You may be able to fit your prop to the OMC with washers, etc., for testing. (maybe not)

My motor is a different size, but I obtained a custom thrust washer that allows me to run OMC props on the Merc.

You should be able to have the prop rehubbed for the stinger. Run the prop you have, see what you think of it. See where your rpm and top speed are at, how it handles, how it carries the boat, then make prop changes from there.

had 1979 70 hp mercury with a 18 inch chopper on my voodoo. I am puttin a 1974 70 hp johnson stinger on it the shaft is 13 spline like the merc put the shaft is longer and stepped at the back. Do I need a new prop or do I get it rehubed. do I need a bigger prop because of the size of the gearcase.
