Ventura II project (at some point)

Hi all,
Haven't posted here before and your kind administrator sent me an email to remind me that I haven't logged on in a while so I thought I'd post a pic and discuss future plans for a 77 Ventura II. It's been sitting a few years waiting for me to finish home projects which never seem to end. Have other boats so no panic but..
Note to Dads, When son says he wants a fire pit near the lake, don't let him loose with a Bobcat. I now have yard with no grass in need of retaining walls and landscaping for the huge patio around that fire pit... More work, Ventura might wait another year.

Anyway, she's an ex race hull that made its way to Canada from Ohio. Transom had been cut for a 1500XS (missed out on that), left hand drive, used to be called Red Baron if anyone old enough remembers. Hull and faded paint are in remarkably good condition but she musta sat in a field for years cause the interior and core were shot.
Core, floor and transom is complete. Have new interior and rigging bits and pieces to install a low hour 2.4/200 with fresh CLE,
Just need a 3" transom jack and about a month to do a complete prep, sand, prime and paint so I can get all these bits and pieces in the right places.

Will post progress (if any) as time allows.

I wish you all a trouble free boating season.
