Whereabouts in Ontario are you? What lakes/rivers do you typically run on?
Thanks for the welcoming. I will be mostly running on Chandos Lake, North Kawatha. There’s quite a few Hydrostreams on Chandos. I can’t wait to cruise in the flock.

I decided to pickup a Hydrostream as a midlife reward. Ive raced a few things, and currently Offroad rock racing.

I hope this boat is as thrilling as i hope. I choose the Vandal for its size and rarity. The styling is growing on me. I wanted a Viper, but i heard the Vandal is better in some ways. I jumped on it for $1800 CAD fully rigged with the original 78' Johnson 70, and decent galvanized trailer. The Boat was imported some time ago from Florida. Of course, just after i gutted it a Vandal in Ohio came up restored with good original gel, built v4 on a trailer for 4k CAD. I would have much rather done that, then this. But, ive learned some hard, good lessens.
Im getting schooled in boat building and a lung full of dust!!

Thanks for this forum!!
