THANKS....THAT WAS MY CONCERN ASWELL....MY BOAT MECHANIC SAW AN ALUMINUM 23 PITCH "HIGH PERFORMANCE" IN THE BOOK.....ITS SEEMS TO BE THE NEXT STEP UP FROM WHAT I HAVE.....ABOUT $180.....GOTTA GO LOOK FOR SOME NEW FRIENDS AS I AM NEW TO THIS....,..WILL POST PHOTOS WHEN I FIGURE OUT HOW TO DOWNLOAD FROM MY SAMSUNG PHONE :)

That is a fairly big jump in pitch and from what I know about the inlines is they don't like to be lugged. I would try to get with some buddies and try as many props as you can or buy used props before you spend big money on a prop.

It is going past 6200 rpm...don't want to keep it there at all.....

have a 12 3/4" x 21" aluminum prop on my 1979 Mercury 140.....GPS 51mph

will a laser II 24p give me better performance...would like to know before I buy....

what would you suggest for an all around prop? engine mounted to transom

just got this boat in water and I think a recore will be nessasary based on all your info......new to hydrostreams..... :?:
