It's no worse than my 14' Lund with the 70 on it. I was impressed how the chine hooks kept it flat while cornering. Oh ya it's getting cold at night now I think we have one more week of mid 60's, then brrrrr.

Try some negative trim wedges. They might help that low speed porpoise. I know mine do.

:cold: Get a stat back in that looper! They like to run a little warm. On the subject of warm, glad to hear you've all still got a little summer left. I know it's brutal up there

Yup worked fine. I cut a piece of 1" pipe to make up the distance from the back of the prop to the nut. I have a small 1/8" gap at the perimeter housing. Again thanks a hell of a lot Chet.

Hey all first ride under my belt!! Felt stable a little porpoising but very nice all and all. Had a temp issue on one side removed the 'stat and that solved the buzzer. Found the electric choke (richener) the hard way. A little intermittent in the spark still running through the engine de-carbonizer stuff. That old Looper pulls pretty good seems to have good torque. Stoked!Image

its 47 here but going to be in high 70s tomorrowand maybe 80 s Sunday but then Monday back to the cold :(

Its 81 here in MN right now. Going to be in the upper 70's it sounds like all week then start getting cold. ICK!!! I need to find a place down south. lol

I feel for you guy's. It's still in the high 70's to mid 80's here. Had 90 a couple of days ago.
