pulling block on 2.4

by YDOC462 » Nov 01, 2012 11:15 am

hey guys, well .....as happy as i am with my motor, im thinking about doing some engine mods and have a few questions/thoughts i figured id run by you guys.

the motor is a 2.4 200 block set on a 135 mid and lower. i believe that the tuner and plate has not been changed. i was thinking about doing this myself and im curious how hard of a task this would be. ive been told i would have to change the studs and of course new gaskets. while i had the block off i figured id put a lightweight cowl on.

is there anything else that needs to be done?

any suggestions otherwise?

difficulty level?

what tuner to use? bobs?

im completely fine with the 2:1 lower. the hole shot is great and great accerlation. i think with a few mods and the right prop i could see 90 easily which is my goal.

thanks

cody
