I've heard less than favourable things about 3d carbon vinyl. There's a post on scream and fly about it, sounds like it doesn't like being in the sun too long, and it's thick stuff, not as pliable as your typical vinyl. I asked my buddy about it at the time as well, his concerns mirrored the problems the guy had in the post. I'm not saying don't do it, but maybe talk to your installer, make sure he's experienced with 3d vinyl, and see what he recommends.

Guys are saying around 5 years for life around here before fading and what not starts to take affect. It's on my mind for my project too.

This guy's a friend of mine way up here in northern Ontario, you probably wouldn't buy from him, but check out what he's up to with his vinyl work. All the kids with too much money from the mines around here are getting everything wrapped!
