You'll also notice that Skeeter bass boats from that era had bottoms that looked a whole lot like Ventura II bottoms. Howard was pursuing legal courses of action. I don't know if it actually ever went to court, but I think my Dad mentioned they were sending communication to Skeeter of some type.

Actually the first one is a skeeter. I can't remember the deatails but I think they splashed the viper for like 2 years.
