After for looking I did find a set of Boyesen rev plates in my box. So... looks like the original OMC reed stops and spacers will no longer be required.

Anyone have experience running these reeds? Pluses or minuses?

I am going to install a set of Boyesen's reeds in an old V-6 cross flow.

The installation guide is rather vague. It looks like they want you to install these without the OMC reed stops, though imply a thin strip (rev plate) should be used.

Have any of you done this mod before? If so, do you retain the OMC reeed stops and the thin metal spacer between the stops and reeds, or is the thin space used as a rev plate?
