whats the coast guard rating
I have a ViKing. Cabelas will not mount a new engine unless they know the hP rating for the boay. This is a 1978 model and there is no rating on it. How can I find out how much HO I can put on it?

VIKING MAKE OVER
Bought the Vking this summer. Ran it once and it almost sank. Pealed a bstch off the bottom and the one inch hole filled the boat and I just made it back to the trailer. I stripped it turned it over and started grinding out the bad glass. The hole then turned out to be 5 feet long and 2 inchred wide...

I just had epoxy primer then epoxy paint applied on the bottom then turned it over and did the same to the top. Hours and hours of sanding. Black Viking with Dodge green . Really hot.
