Re: Lake St clair and area
I have not had the cruiser in the water yet. Family purchased a trailer and lot at Rondeau(lake Erie) for many reasons including if the water levels do not straighten out, the cruiser would have been dry docked anyway! Still have the stream, st clair still a 20 minute drive and gull still a water co...

Re: I need to find the value of my boat to insure it.
I'm in Ontario..some things a diffrent, but many are the same. I'll suggest 5k.. if they want a break down..1k for the motor, 3500 for the hull and 1500 for the trailer. Because this was inherited..I'll suggest it is more memeory than value. ie if you lost it all or part of it tomorrow.. lessoned le...

Re: Lake St clair and area
I cannot confirm Yes or No at this point. I can say I’d like to.. I can say the event is fun. If the weather is poor…ie windy for streams I will not cross. I do have the option of the cruiser. Answer is I do not know. I do know..good weather days if we can set it up..I’ll run across the bay in a hea...

Re: Lake St clair and area
Was out on st clair today. Decent day , perfect stream chop.. but kind of cool temps. The water is still cold. Had a friend with me and his 7 year old. Ran up on 4 guys on jet skis.. almost in the middle of the lake.. surely on the Canadian side looking for gull island. How they missed it I do not k...

Re: Lake St clair and area

Jobbie...if June's date is the first warm weather weekend..chances are I'll be around. I'm hoping for running befor...

Re: omc props
The only issue I might be able to add. Yes I understand 1 prop cannot do it all. Last season my “daily” prop was a 29 pitch shooter. With a stock 225 omc on a vegas v. To date with a hydrolic plate. The 29 shooter will make the hull jump out of the water. Even pull a ski or 2 with it. I’ve hit low 7...

Hehe..ok we are on the same page! If some “enforcement” people wants to play boarder games.. we can stand on each side of the line and still chat! I hear you on the freighter wakes.. some friends like to go play in the sand in that area. last summer.. I was dual anchored just North of that section a...
