well im upset to be on here reporting this but in life **** happens, I was out on the river for the forth and was running great until it over heated to the point it quit :oops: , I was in open water and the water pump was working i dont know how this happened but i was going slow and it just quit be...

its a 74 115 but it was rebuilt and bored two years its maybe got 50 to 60 hours on it

here is a pic of the middle carb at full throttle the bottom carb was turned in even more than this i dont know how far off this is im not a mechanic but i adjusted them and they are all straight open now:)

I was in the motor yesterday and was looking at the carbs the top one looks like its open at full but the middle carb looks like it should be more open and i cant really see the bottom one, is there a thread on adjusting or "syncing" these to open them or does anyone have experience on the...

Maybe once it gets up to par, ex. new prop and a jack plate and new paint will make it look faster Im going to get it out soon to figure out where the rpm is at wot and find a prop next week accordingly its got a 17p on it right now so...

Hello!
Just wanted to say hi to Hydrostream Forums and was real excited to find this... My name is Travis Im 26 from Hudson WI i own a 1974 Ventura 1 with a 74 115 merc Relic! It needs a good painting but the interior we redid last year as with the motor was rebuilt and bored thanks for having me!
