Re: 24 Raker on Viper
well ive been playing around in my viper with this new 24 Raker prop not real sure how fast it is feels quicker but is this little hard to control it's great untill you start to trim up it starts hoping around the more gas you give it the smoother it rides untill it starts to chine walk best i can describe it, then your just trying to hold on i know its not a big speed demon but I can't really open it up any ideas how to gain some control.
Thanks, Ryansviper >)))>

Re: 24 Raker on Viper
Do you have good, tight dual cable steering? How about solid motor mounts? Those two are a must for drive ability and safety. The higher you get the propshaft also helps but will require a low water pickup on the gearcase.

Re: 24 Raker on Viper
I have dual cable steering not sure about solid motor mounts what would I be looking for there? The motor has LWP but no set back the transom was raised the center of the prop shaft is about 2" below pad when the motor is trimmed all the way down.
