Doubt it, but is yours welded on? If it is, or still stuck good, I use take a grinder to it and slap on more filler, sand, prime, paint. This is rattle can stuff.

To be honest, I have no idea if its welded on or not. But the filler or whatever was used at one time is cracked and coming off. What filler did you use? Im thinking im just going to sand down what I have, but a new layer on it, sand it and spay bomb it for now.

I think he used Evercoat light weight filler from an auto parts store. Not exactly what I would use, but I don't EVER keep my body in the water longer than a day so it will last many years. He has used this for years and as long as you don't keep the boat in the water for weeks at a time it works good. If it cracks Down the road I will grind it all off and use some other sort of epoxy or marinetex

Some more progress, but not on the boat. My buddy started on the mud swap. Removed the stock and put on my Jason Wolf mid I bought cheap last winter. Looks great!

On to the outside repairs. Some delamination and spider cracks. Sanded down to the glass I bedded the core into on the delamination damage, and just sanded out the spider cracks. Will build the areas back up with glass and then fill and fair with some thick epoxy with graphite powder additive. That should be close in color but will have to test some of that mix first to see if it sands ok.

Some more sanding, prime and paint on some small cracks in the gel and a thin spot from taking out the core.
