Electronic Fuel Pump

Post: # 11940Post S P E E D »

I have for sale a Carter P4594 Electronic fuel pump. It is literally BRAND NEW in box, I put it on my Johnson (lol Had to say it) and litterally took it off the same weekend.

Here are the specs:

6-8 psi output
No Regulator Required
72 gph Free Flow
Dependable High Flow Performance for Street Use.

I have the complete kit with mounting bracket, NPT fitting, clamps etc...
You can run this setup thru AFPR if needed to control fuel pressure.

How come you took it off? Different pump or did it not work well with the 235 you had on there?

He did but I thought for some reason one of the pumps he put on didn't work for the big v6 so he put a different one on. I could be way wrong.

I use the same pump on my 225 Looper, and I can say, it definitely does the job. I have been running it most of the season with no problems. The advantage for me was knowing the fuel pressure at all times, and not worrying about ethanol damage causing an air leak ( lean condition). It also doesn't leech compression from the crankcase to run it.
