Thats what is in there now and the cables are really really stiff. I think cause the ends unfortunately sat in the boat under water one year and im guessing rusted up or something. I can buy new cables for $400 but piecing together the rest of my hydraulic set up is just not in the budget right now. Need a helm and hoses for that. I just thought I would see what was out there is anyone had some good used ones laying around.
That system is stiff as hell even when new. It has something to do with the clutch system it uses to get the "no feedback".
Problem is it makes it very hard to make the small corrections needed when driving on the pad. You have to yank the wheel too hard so you overshoot the correction needed.

I currently own 2 Vultures both with NFB cables on the steering: The '79 steering is very easy to steer. The '84 is very stiff to steer with. Can't control the '84 boat well at extreme speeds.
