Already tried the new impeller, housing, and plate with 2 new thermostats and re-gasketed poppet vlave, after running the garden hose through the water tube for 1/2 hour and flushing from the thermostat ports and the poppet valve recess...still overheats.

Next step is pull the heads and exhaust divider and see what I can see, if I don't find it, the powerhead will be coming off.

Just throw that Short Shaft 135 you have on the Viper. :up:

Fieldzy, that was the plan when I bought it but I found out the boat I was going to trash to get it was a Powercat....back in the boat rebuild biz....
