picked up the lower unit from ronnies

Post: # 15801Post Fat Tony »

Hey All, picked up the lower unit from Ronnie last week- just put it on tonight. Wow he did a awsom job- put a new prop on it too- I am going to raise the motor up a bit (about an inch below the bottom of the boat) I will probably take the boat out on thursday- tomorrow we are having a barbeque and a huge fire on the beach- I mean over 200 pallets. I do it every year for the last 12 years I have won the contest of the biggest fire. Any way I will take pics of the lower unit and post them . Hopefully I will get the boat to go more than 70mph this week- we will see. Happy Fourth All!!!

I might send my lower off to Ronnie as well unless I can con Chet into giving me a hand with it. lol Mine is already drilled and stuff. Just need to take the old Land and Sea (thats what Ronnie thinks it is) cone off and put a Bobs on it. Have been pondering the idea of a Titus cone too but not sure. Thinking I just might stick with whats easiest to get and that would be a bobs. :)

Only thing that would get me is the shipping costs. I dont think it would be cheap to ship a lower both ways from Minnesota to him and back. But they always say, You get what you pay for...
