Of the two I would say the voyager looks like a better deal. I wouldn't say a v bottom would be a deal breaker over a xt or yt bottom, I would think a 20' v bottom would handle chop fairly well. Heck I had my viper in some water I didn't think I would ever think about, it was rough but the boat held together fine.

I read somewhere that the Voyager debute at 62 mph with a 26 pitch chopper prop .

Vantage is mainly a Ski/Bass boat. Hull wise they are the same as the Voyager and the Vegas I believe. The Vantage was in the 4 digits weight wise, but it actually made for a stable boat in chop . I can remember a family trip we took on the St. Lawrence and we got caught behind an ocean liner and 3 offshore boats through a narrow point off the river and if I was in my Vision in those rollers I would have been in a **** ton of trouble. The Vantage came out with a dry interior bow.

the Voyager looks like it has alot of room in the midsection of the boat. Looks like it would suit Konrads needs for family people mover.
