Still a little bit more termination to do when I set the battery up. But other then that I have pretty much re-wired the boat minus a couple gauges I need to sort through and the Motor I have redone the wiring harness because the previous owner (not sure why) had cut a few wires off the main harness. Thank GOD for the OMC Service manual and electrical Schematics!

Fuel tank, Filler, Venting, Fuel fitler and seperator go in tomorrow! Then she's ready to fire up! :be:

Thanks for the kind words guys! Been working pretty steady on it lately, the wife is starting to think I live in the garage. lol

Rut: My boat originally came with a rear couch section but the wood was all soaked and rotting out. Honestly it must have weighed around 75 pounds easily. I think the rear plate is the way to go, especially in these boats because it opens up the boat for more space. I kept the stock Chrome hinge brackets from the couch section and I am going to use them on the rear plate when it's all recovered. Should be kinda cool to swing it open if need be.

Just like my Vector it had a pickup front seat in it prop 100#or more needless to say trash can for it .I well be going same route you took as the Vector well only be 2 seater to good thing my river buddie is about the same weight as me gota keep her balanced on the pad .

One thing I am definitely going to do when I get everything sorted out is put the boat on my race car scales. We scaled my buddies Hydroplane Race boat last week. Definitely going to be interesting to see if I can offset some of my driver weight by putting the battery and electronics on the passenger side etc...

Ran the Steering lines today and covered the side panels and rear hatch cover I built.

Still need to put the silver Stripes on the white upholstery but I wanted to see how they looked all white...










The rear Hatch isnt done, I am going to make another wood piece for above the speaker and wrap it in silver marine vinyl and get a Hydrostream Sticker made for it. Should look pretty sweet when done.

Motor fired up tonight! Just need to bleed the Hydraulic Steering system, bolt in the front buckets and wire up the speedo hose and water temp gauge.

hahaha I wish Chet, this might be sacrilegious to the OMC Crew but I kinda stumbled on this project and the motor came off my 19 J-Craft. I think there will be a few black motors in the stable by next season

I'm putting it in the water Saturday for a shake down on the hydraulic Steering, motor etc... my buddy is coming out with his reliable wake board boat just to make sure everything runs smooth So I will have some videos this weekend boyz!
