Canada Trip

Post: # 10861Post blowitup »

Went to Dwight,On to look at a Vegas xt last Saturday.Saw more boats and marina's,lakes then i have seen in my whole life in the states. These guys have it made up there the lakes are from what i was told formed from glaciers and deep with no weeds that i saw lol.
Back to the xt take it ouuuuut for a ride, boat was described well to me by seller but needs a couple things.Manage to get boat for less which is huge bonus. Now the fun part, the trailer is 1/2hr away by boat at a marina.Have my friend drive my truck to the marina and i drove the boat through 3 small lakes to load.Made a wrong turn and ending up Toronto :x then crossing the boarder was ok.But found a Hydrostream that has had core and transom replaced makes the 15hr. day worth it

Yeah we're pretty lucky as far as lakes go.I could run a different lake everyday of the boating season and not hit half of them with-in an hour of my house. Not to mention that Georgian Bay(part of Lake Huron-Great Lakes) is 5 min. away.
