Tip of the hat!
Newbie here, wanted to express admiration for Your engineering skill!
Loved your Viper build. I just bought my nephews 80 ish Viper/150 Johnson, $hit ton of fun!
In digressing order, raceboatless, is that a word? For the last 7 years. Filled gap with SeaDoo, P toon
And vicariously through my nephew, pro Merc mech. He caught the bug!
Prior, a 88 hydrostream Valero/175 johnrude to 200 efi Merc solid 80+mph. Why did I sell that? Anyway.
Prior, 1990 Gtron Carlson Cvx 17/115 rude- ahh the skiing years! Dislocated shoulder and 3 surgeries ended that. Getting older.
Prior, 1971 GT 150/125 Johnson just like yours! So now I’m 15 again. Dad the original hot boater, long story
Thought that was a practical family boat. I kept it nice till 1990 when the Carlson came in.
Best we could get was low 50-1-2 with 21 alum prop standard stuffed engine height, no trim. wtf.
You can imagine how much fun a teenager had with that. Thanks for the memories!
Cheers, NHstreamer

Re: Glastron GT-150 - Hull mods to make it handle 150 HP
Thanks guys!! I really like this stuff as well!
One thing I didn’t show.
I wanted a liner inside the cowl like factory.
I took pictures and measurements from my 280 factory cowl for reference.
I hot glued 1” foam to the inside to create the air void and water drain channels.
Covered with spray glue and tin foil.
Cut a CSM and cloth then laid up with some black gel coat pigment in the resin.
Popped off, cleaned the foam out and glued in place.
