You have a website, don't you? Why not just FTP the images to its own directory and then IMG tag them here?

Cause I don’t know how to do that. Lol!!
I asked Caprice and she said I need to learn this. She put the site together. She is so busy, I’m going to get a lesson this winter.

Saturday November 2nd.

Good weekend to put on the pad.
De-rigged the hull and flipped over, formed up lifting strake extensions and laid up with a foam core.

I added in some cobalt To the resin so I could shape the layup 15 minutes after cleaning the tools.

Should be able to get the pad laid up, shaped and in gel by the afternoon.

Sunday I got the pad laid up but had a couple "drop in's" visitors and didn't get pictures. Will tonight though.

I hot glued some forms and got them level.

Looking good. What are you going to use for the pad material?

Kevin, I am using 8# urethane foam.
Once the forms are hot glued down, I lay up a couple layers of CSM (chop strand mat) and cloth on the hull, up the inside of the forms and let drape over and outward. Then I bed in the foam and then fold the extra glass back over the foam. Then I put down a CSM , woven roving and a CSM. Grind flat and pop the forms. Leaves nice clean sides to the pad. I have the hull level and am now fine tuning the pad then gelcoat and re-assemble.

After checking with a 5’ straight edge( I like using aluminum as it leaves black marks when you slide it slightly showing your high spots) I found a few slight waves in my layup.
I mixed up some glass bubbles and resin to form a thin putty. A couple applications got the pad true .

Mixing the gel coat was a pain. It is white with some black, yellow, and some red. Glad it’s the bottom cause I definitely don’t want to do a topside repair.
