The chop glass ( Mat) arrived and was torn into 4”, 6”, & 8” wide strips.
A neat trick is to clamp a straight edge at one end , slide the mat under and tear it like wax paper. It takes a bit to get the feel but it’s a quick way to get it done without a hard edge.

Watching the tracking for the stitchmat. It arrived an our facility 5:15 am. Changed to “out for delivery” at 10:00am so I decided to get started.
I checked level again and used two floor jacks to hold the front stable.
Put three layers of mat down. Need it to kick before I add more layers. I’m making the ski locker floor from some left over 1/4” balsa. A mat and cloth were wet out over the under side.
Also trimmed the edges of the laminated transom .
Tomorrow will be a busy day.

Lots of resin was mixed today.
Got the stitchmat laid down, balsa bedded in center pad and tunnel tops.
Ski locker floor and forward bulkhead glassed in.
Realized 5 gallons of resin isn’t going to be enough. Got 3 more gallons ordered. Two should be enough but I don’t want to run short again..

Today I used the last 2 qts of my resin to glass in the bow stringers and replace the sponson tops I had to remove to get access to the hull.
I glued in the ski locker carpet, spread structural putty with a 1/2” wide X 1/4” deep trowel on the tunnel tops and bed in the floor.
There was just enough putty to put in the rear “drop” floor where the gas tank sits.
This next few days will be good to let the hull just sit in the jig and cure out.
