Thanks to you Glenn for chatting on messenger and sharing pictures of your HST build.
One thing we were discussing that I rectified was that silly deck to hull overlap going across the transom.
That extra fiberglass in the overlap created a large lip for a jack plate to sit on and not against the transom.
Glenn ( Big boy) shaped some plywood to create a flat surface and Ron Flood has an aluminum plate to bring the upper transom out to the overlap level.
The lower bolt holes go thru the overlap so there’s still an issue below that area to address.
The easiest solution was to remove this strip and glass the two outer skins together.
This now allows the inside to be perfectly flush.
